Dimplex Flagstaff — a silver coal-effect fire with heater
A stylish silver fire for classic and contemporary interiors. Opti-Myst flames dance over glowing coals, and the 1–2 kW heater with thermostat holds a set temperature between 15 and 35 °C.
What makes it special
- Coal effect. flames over glowing coals, 6 intensity levels.
- Precise thermostat. 15–35 °C in 1 °C steps with a current temperature display.
- 1–2 kW heater. a two-stage heater with thermostat warms rooms up to 20 m².
- Flame without heat. run the flame effect without heat all year round.
- Compact. just 196 mm deep and 7.2 kg.
- Optional Wi-Fi. smartphone control is available as an option.
How it works
An ultrasonic transducer breaks water into micro-droplets. The cold mist rises above the fuel bed and is lit from below by LEDs, producing moving flames and soft smoke. The mist is not hot: it is safe to touch, leaves no soot and adds a little humidity to the room. The heater works independently of the flame effect, so in summer you can run the fire purely for atmosphere and in winter for warmth as well.
Installation and care
The firebox is built into a surround or recess and plugged into a 230 V socket. The water tank is filled by hand; use the water type recommended by the manufacturer. See the manual for installation dimensions.
