Dimplex Cassette 600 LED LOG — a cassette with logs, sound and a panoramic view
The larger LED LOG model: 564 mm wide, with a decorative log set and free-floating Opti-Myst flames. It only needs a 230 V connection, and the tank is easy to fill.
What makes it special
- Panoramic view. flames and logs are visible from all four sides.
- Crackling logs. crackling sound with 6 volume levels.
- 6 flame levels. mist intensity adjustable from the remote.
- Timers. the remote sets a 24-hour or weekly timer and shows the date and time.
- Long run time. one tank lasts about 8–10 hours.
- Energy-saving LEDs. LEDs instead of halogen lamps cut power use and last longer.
How it works
An ultrasonic transducer breaks water into micro-droplets. The cold mist rises above the fuel bed and is lit from below by LEDs, producing moving flames and soft smoke. The mist is not hot: it is safe to touch, leaves no soot and adds a little humidity to the room.
Installation and care
The fire is easy to build into furniture, a worktop, cabinet or recess: it only needs a 230 V connection. The control panel is hidden and the fire is operated by remote.
Water is topped up by hand. Use the water type recommended in the manufacturer's manual.
