Dimplex Juneau — a built-in Opti-Myst firebox without heater
A built-in firebox with LEDs set into the logs so they glow realistically. Ultrasound turns water into a cold mist to create the illusion of fire. No heater — just atmosphere.

How it works
An ultrasonic transducer breaks water into micro-droplets. The cold mist rises above the fuel bed and is lit from below by LEDs, producing moving flames and soft smoke. The mist is not hot: it is safe to touch, leaves no soot and adds a little humidity to the room.
Installation and care
The firebox is built into a surround or recess and plugged into a 230 V socket. The water tank is filled by hand; use the water type recommended by the manufacturer. See the manual for installation dimensions.
